Taco Week – Socal Food and Beverage

Organized by Dream Agency and supported by SoCal Food & Beverage, a California registered 501(c)(3) non-profit, the annual SoCal Taco Week pays homage to everyone’s favorite handheld wonder: The Taco!

From traditional offerings with house-made salsas and sauces to inventive specialty tacos made with pork belly or BBQ brisket, hearty plant-based renditions made with jackfruit or mushrooms and even tacos topped with chicharones, there’s something for everyone to enjoy!

Participating restaurants across Southern California will be serving up $5, $10, and $15 tacos or combos! SoCal Taco Week is an opportunity to support local restaurants, food trucks and pop-ups with special with dine-in, to-go and delivery options available depending on the business.

Why Taco Week?

Inspired by food weeks across the country, SoCal Taco Week is a celebration of community, culture, and one of SoCal’s most beloved bites – the taco. This flavorful week brings together local taqueros, chefs, and restaurants to showcase their creativity and passion through taco specials that reflect the heart of Southern California. It’s more than just a week of tasty tacos – it’s a delicious movement powered by local flavor.

The Taco Awards!

Think your favorite restaurant serves the best taco in SoCal? Now is your chance to prove it. During SoCal Taco Week, customers will cast their votes online for their favorite participating restaurant. At the end of the week, the top 5 most-voted restaurants will advance to the ultimate Taco Showdown – a live tasting event where the top contenders will compete for taco glory. A panel of judges made up of food lovers, media, and influencers will taste, score, and crown the winners: the Golden Taco Award, the Silver Taco Award, and the Bronze Taco Award!
